The Christian Dior couture shows are always a source of inspiration for me. I love the color palettes and grandeur of each piece. This particular dress from the spring 2009 show is amazing... with a ribbon of ruffles, a balloon of a traditional floral at the bottom and of course shades of pink. Go to the Dior website to watch the catwalk video. I am always amazed that the models can walk down the runway in the ornate ensembles without falling down.

The random assortment of pattern and color. I love this find of wallpaper covered boxes all assorted in such a lovely way.

I love this photo of my daughter Lena running on the beach. Free as can be... hair flying in the wind... arms wide open and ready for change. This past weekend was the Spring Equinox and I experienced the change of the seasons in many ways. The freedom of childhood still is possible for all of us. Welcome Spring!

I have decided that it is important each day to stop and breathe in the highlights of life. So every day I am going to post an inspiring image (taking the weekends off...) that uplifts me. Recognizing the beauty in elements, places, people and events. In these times the power of what we choose to pay attention to can have a great effect on our daily experience. As we live our busy lives stop and enjoy the inspiration that can be found every day.
